Electric Armature

Electric armatures for applications in the automotive supply industry, household appliances, power tools or industry - here you will find high-precision, fully automatic balancing systems that fulfil your requirements for balancing in series production.

Innovative balancing technology for long-lasting electric motors.

More quality through balancing The ever-increasing speeds of electric motors also increase the demands on the balancing quality of electric armatures. By balancing the rotor, you can efficiently reduce the vibration and thus the noise emission of electric motors - for better quality and a longer service life of your products

Schenck balancing machines for electric armatures: high performance in a compact design Short cycle times, good accessibility to all components with a compact design and user-friendly handling make Schenck balancing machines the perfect high performers for your production. A flexible interlinking interface ensures the connection to your workpiece feeder. Communication interfaces ensure smooth data transfer with line control and MES systems.

Balancing solutions for every need Schenck balancing machines for electric armatures are available in different configurations. As four-, five- and six-station balancing machines. Depending on the application, balancing is carried out by milling or drilling, adapted to your rotor geometry.

Model overview Schenck balancing machines for electric armatures

Our fully automatic four-, five- and six-station balancing machines are optimised for use in your high-volume production process. All machines work with a fully automatic function sequence and can be flexibly integrated into your production environment. The balancing, milling or drilling, is flexibly optimised to your rotor geometry.

All machines work with an integrated, automatic circular stroke transfer for rotor handling within the machine and for the transfer interface to the feeder. Interfaces for communication and data transfer with the line control and MES systems are available.

6-station

KBTU

Ideal for use in high-volume production lines: The KBTU series offers 4-station machines or 6-station machines with a fully automatic function sequence for measuring and correcting the unbalance of electric armatures in various designs and sizes. The unbalance is corrected by milling (profile/polar/slot milling or drilling) in one or two planes. The machine essentially consists of the transfer station to the on-site feeder system, measuring station, common correction station level 1 / level 2, measuring station for audit check, internal pick-and-place lifting and turning transport, as well as the electrical control cabinet and protective device.

Civo

Ideal for medium to large quantities of up to approx. 2 million electric armatures per year.

The CIVO offers you maximum balancing performance in the smallest of spaces. It is designed for the fully automatic balancing of small electric armatures up to 500 g (optionally up to 3 kg). The machine is a 5-station machine designed for the automatic balancing of electric armatures by milling or optionally drilling. Balancing takes place in one or two planes. The machine essentially consists of the transfer station to the on-site feeder system, measuring station, balancing station level 1, balancing station level 2, measuring station for audit check, internal pick-and-place lift and turn transport, as well as the electrical control cabinet and protective device.

Equalisation procedure

Profile milling:

  • The rotor imbalance is compensated for in the determined angular position without regard to the groove pitch using a profile cutter.

Slot milling:

  • The determined imbalance of the rotor is divided into components according to the groove pitch and corrected by slot milling in the pole heads of the rotor package.

Polar slot milling:

  • The imbalance of the rotors is compensated by polar slot milling in 1 or 2 planes. Depending on the size of the original imbalance and the package height, compensation is achieved by pure plunge milling or by longitudinal milling, whereby the milling path is kept constant and the milling depth is varied according to the imbalance in order to ensure constant plane spacing. By axially adjusting the milling spindle equipped with a double milling cutter, the effect of the milling is shifted in the polar imbalance direction.

Drilling:

  • In polar drilling compensation (axial), the imbalance is normally removed by drilling a hole at the calculated compensation angle. However, if the imbalance is so great that it cannot be compensated for with a single hole, the measured imbalance is distributed across two or more adjacent holes. Prohibited zones can be omitted.

CAB 870 and 950 measuring systems for series production

Intelligent technology for precision, efficiency and flexibility.

State-of-the-art measurement technology with simple operation

State-of-the-art measurement technology with simple operation

Much more than basic equipment: The CAB 870 and CAB 950 measuring system for the series production of electric armatures offers you a touchscreen for simple data input and display of measurement results, a logical operating concept, interfaces for integration into production control systems as well as automated set-up processes, diagnostic programmes and statistics software - simply everything you need for precise and effective balancing.

Effective balancing of electric anchors

Many standard functions ensure even greater accuracy when balancing electric armatures: for example, balancing units that measure distance using rotor-specific calibration, and vibration-isolating measures in the machine to eliminate disruptive vibrations from the environment.

Precise mechanics and measurement technology

The CAB 950 and CAB 870 are not simply measuring devices, but an intuitive man-machine interface (MMI). With convenient and clear access to all machine functions as well as precise mechanics and modern CAB measurement technology for maximum precision in unbalance correction.
