The SmartBalancer 4 is a portable balancing device for service, maintenance, and measurement technicians. This compact device is suitable for preventive maintenance, quality assurance, and repair. The SmartBalancer 4 can test rotor types of all weight classes and dimensions in their installed state at speeds from 120 to 80,000 rpm, with up to 6 sensors simultaneously, for balancing in 1 or 2 planes. Various analysis functions enable an even more comprehensive assessment of the machine condition.

The SmartBalancer 4 quickly becomes an indispensable tool for both in analysis and in practice. Operation is intuitive via the high-resolution touchscreen with a Windows-like interface with easy-to-understand pictograms and a clear file structure. This practical tool enables sustainable minimization of unbalances during operation.

Resonance analysis
By measuring and graphically displaying the vibration amplitude and phase angle, resonances can be determined depending on the speed. This enables targeted balancing outside machine resonances.
SmartBalancing mode
SmartBalancing mode enables guided balancing in 1 or 2 planes with optimization of horizontal and vertical vibration of a measuring point available.
Evaluation of roller bearings
The optional analysis package expands your SmartBalancer 4 with rolling bearing assessment. It detects damage caused by periodic shocks in the envelope spectrum and ideal for predictive maintenance and cost savings.
Advanced analysis package
The retrofittable analysis package enables detailed detection of unbalances, misalignments, and damage using FFT, bearing envelope curves, and time and phase measurements for even more comprehensive field analysis. When using multichannel software and analysis software, up to 6 channels can be measured simultaneously.
Assessment of vibration levels
The SmartBalancer 4 uses the DIN ISO 10816-3 limit values for fast, accurate vibration assessment. With just a few clicks, you can select the machine type and immediately receive the appropriate correction. In addition, the SmartBalancer 4 has a tolerance calculation according to ISO 21940-11.
