The service and installation unit is responsible for troublefree installation, conversion and maintenance of the machines. The department has a highly qualified team of skilled workers who ensure that both in Germany and abroad, the machines work perfectly and comply with the customers’ requirements. Machine efficiency and productivity is being improved all the time to offer our customers innovative solutions and first-class service.
The test facility and commissioning department plays a key role in quality assurance and smooth operation of our machines and systems. The products go through intensive testing and are then installed and put through the acceptance procedure at customers’ site in Germany and abroad. The trained colleagues also take care of training the customer’s maintenance and operating staff on site. They make a crucial contribution to the further development and optimisation of our products and also give impetus for our new developments.
Our software development unit stands out with its innovative, tailor-made software solutions for various sectors. The team of highly experienced experts helps our customers to optimise processes and make them more efficient. As a technical designer at Schenck, your task in the context of order handling consists in checking that the order instructions are technically plausible and complete, producing the overall designs, drawing up production documents and ensuring that all jobs of work comply with currently valid technical and statutory regulations, as well as remaining within the pre-calculated production costs. You are also involved in product development, and support our sales teams with your know-how when it comes to project planning tasks.
Consulting is all about expert knowledge for product development and balancing solutions. Specialised know-how and technologies form the basis for analyses to minimise imbalance already during the development phase. Furthermore, the consultants help with optimising production workflows and when troubleshooting. Quality is safeguarded by collecting and evaluating various key performance indicators, thus facilitating continuous improvement.
The technical sales department elaborates tailor-made solutions for the individual requirements of our customers. The colleagues perform an important coordination function between customers, sales team and the technical departments, and ensure that all enquiries and concerns are handled efficiently. With an innovative approach and tailor-made solutions, the team cultivates long-term relationships with our customers and plays an active role in shaping the market.
