High precision without rotation

Efficient balancing of disc-shaped rotors thanks to innovative measuring principle Our static balancing machines are a particularly cost-effective alternative to rotating machines for balancing simple, disc-shaped rotors. Their recipe for success: increased performance thanks to a unique measuring principle with three high-precision load cells. For the first time in static balancing machines, true permanent calibration is possible without subsequent adjustment of the measuring mechanism.

ESx series: High flexibility and efficiency for many rotors ESx series balancing machines are available in two versions for different applications. They both feature a simple, cost-effective rotor holder, a display that indicates when the tolerance limit has been reached, and easy changeovers thanks to calibration data storage at the touch of a button.

Taro series: fast, precise, and easy to integrate Taro is our modern interpretation of the balancing scale for rotor weights from 200 to 3,600 kg and is ideal for the fast and precise determination of unbalance and weight in disc-shaped rotors such as railway wheels, propellers, grinding wheels, or pump rotors. Thanks to the static measuring principle without rotation, no protective device is required and easy integration into your processes is possible, whether manual or fully automatic.

Advantages of static balancing machines

Reliable and low maintenance

Resistant to shocks and short-term overloads, highly reliable and process-safe.

Energy efficient

Significantly reduced energy consumption: Rotors do not need to be brought up to measuring speed and then slowed down again.

Safe and space-saving

No additional protective alignment required: more space, lower costs, and easier integration into semi- or fully automated processes.

Quick commissioning

Quick balancing without a foundation: simply set up, align, and connect to the power supply.

Simple, cost-effective tooling

Genuine and permanent calibration thanks to measuring principle with three measuring sensors, no additional taring or calibration required.

Modern Cab 920static

CAB920 tip gauge for easy operation and maximum precision in determining unbalance – including tolerance calculation in accordance with DIN ISO 21940-11.

ESB / ESC / ESD

The ESE and ESF machines are our housing versions for large rotors, such as grinding wheels, fans, ventilators, railway wheels, vehicle tires, complete wheels, and propellers weighing up to 200 kg. Balancing is performed by adding material directly to the machine or by removing material on separate balancing units. These machines are suitable for pure unbalance measurement, unbalance correction in production and incoming goods inspection, rebalancing, and weight measurement.

  • Maximum rotor weight: up to 20 kg
  • Measurement uncertainty: 12 gmm/kg for rotors up to 20 kg
  • Measurement time: 2 to 5 seconds
  • Operating voltage: 100 to 240 V / 50 to 60 Hz

Taro 600/1600/3600

The Taro 600/1600/3600 balancing machines are ideal for precisely measuring the static unbalance of disc-shaped bodies such as grinding wheels, propellers, brake discs, railway wheels, and pump rotors. In addition to pure unbalance measurement, they are suitable for unbalance correction in production, incoming goods inspection, and rebalancing. They also automatically determine the workpiece weight.

  • Maximum rotor weight: up to 3,600 kg
  • Measurement uncertainty: 600 bis 1.200 gmm/kg bei Rotoren bis 3.600 kg
  • Measurable unbalance: from 3 s to 5 s or 12 s for rotors up to 3,600 kg
  • Operating voltage: 100 to 240 V / 50 to 60 Hz

Worth knowing Figures, data, and facts about static balancing machines.

Schenck static balancing systems are an efficient alternative to rotating solutions for determining the weight and unbalance of simple disc-shaped rotors. The reason for this is a unique measuring principle that significantly increases the performance of the systems and expands their range of applications. If the balancing quality allows it, our static balancing systems offer considerable savings potential.
