Bladis 4
With the new generation of torque scales in the WME series, blades can now be weighed even more precisely and distributed with the help of Bladis 4.

Functions and operation
Analysis of engine blade moments
Determination of the radial, axial and tangential moment of engine blades to determine their mass and centre of gravity.
Precise measurements with scales
Use of scales in testing, inspection and production control.
Precise bucket positioning
The optional Bladis 4 blade distribution system can be used to determine the exact position of the blade during assembly.
Optimal blade distribution on engine and gas turbine rotors
The Bladis-4 software, in conjunction with a torque or weight scale, enables the weighing of turbine blades and their optimised distribution across turbine stages in the aviation and energy industries. By optimising the distribution of the weighed blades across the individual stages, the unbalance of the stage is minimised, so that fewer balancing or trim weights need to be applied during downstream balancing processes or test bench runs. This saves work and weight on the corresponding rotors. The most common pre-distribution patterns are pre-configured: single-jet descending, double-jet descending, double-jet heavy-light, triple-jet heavy-light, etc.
In addition, specific pre-distribution patterns can be defined and created by the customer. The weighed blades are stored in a database that can be accessed by other Bladis 4 systems, enabling networked operation with different workstations or locations.
Bladis Portable also works without being connected to a torque or weight scale. By manually entering the mass or torque weights of pre-weighed blades or importing the data from a Bladis-4 database, you can easily and decentrally calculate the redistribution of turbine blades for a stage.
Advantages at a glance
Accuracy
Precise weighing and distribution on the rotor
Shovel distribution
Precisely determine the imbalance-optimised distribution of the blades
User-friendly
Convenient user interface with easy operation via a touchscreen.
Database design
Fast calculation of distribution and data transfer
Modular
The blades are distributed using optimised algorithms that are tailored to the extended weighing capabilities.
Bladed rotors
This imbalance reduction by weighing is suitable for all paddle rotors and after a rotor repair.
Fast calculation and data transfer
Optimised algorithms for precise blade distribution In Bladis 4, the distribution of the blades is based on continuously improved algorithms. In addition to optimal coordination with the scales, the new, integrated database concept is also a core feature of the software functions. It enables faster calculation of the distribution and data transfer to other applications. The processes can thus be operated with a high degree of accuracy and quality.

Convenient operation with optimal work support Bladis 4 offers a user-friendly interface that can be operated quickly and easily via a touchscreen. The blade distribution visualisation clearly shows which blade needs to be placed in which position on the rotor in order to achieve the best results. Many additional functions simplify working with Bladis 4 and offer extra ease of use.
