Lars Künne to become new CEO of Schenck
As of May 1st, Lars Künne will become a member of the board of Carl Schenck AG and at the same time be appointed as CEO of Schenck RoTec GmbH. He succeeds Jörg Brunke, who has been head of the world leader in balancing solutions since 2017. Jörg Brunke will retire after a very successful tenure, effective April 30, 2025.
Lars Künne, a graduate engineer in industrial engineering, has been with the company for over 20 years in various roles. During this time, he has among other things, led the operations of the subsidiary Schenck USA CORP. as President & CEO for almost 6 years. Since 2023, he has been responsible for the global sales and service business.
As CEO, Jörg Brunke has successfully driven the internationalization and digitalization of Schenck – the introduction of global product families and the new Schenck ONE measurement platform clearly demonstrate this. Last year, together with Lars Künne, Jörg Brunke opened the Green Technology Center at the headquarters in Darmstadt. Here, customers can carry out a variety of tests and services related to the development and production qualification of eMobility, aviation, and hydrogen rotors, for example.
