Wherever the work situation allows, we offer days for working from home, making it easier to reconcile work obligations with family life.

That’s why we’re really happy every year on our Kid's Day to welcome our the’ children of our employees and give them an opportunity to see where their parents work. In the summer holidays, we help close any possible gaps in child care provision and offer a two-week holiday programme full of variety for your children.

Our SCHENCK Health Campus pools all measures that are beneficial for your physical health, mental health and fitness in the workplace and also before or after work. Physical and mental exercise keeps you fit and also has a positive effect in helping you to keep a balance in your everyday work routines.

• Company medical service: Use the healthcare provision available in the company. From  occupational health check-ups via medical advice before going on work assignments abroad through to vaccinations – we want you to be fit and well.
• Health Days: We work together with various partners to hold regular Health Days where you can be checked through and receive individual advice. We have already offered some of these checks: foot analysis, diabetes check, back check, lung volume test, pupillography sleep analysis etc.
• Massage: Incorrect posture can cause tense muscles in many people. A professional massage supports your well-being and makes you feel better at the same time. We offer our staff classic massage and chiropractic treatment for tense muscles and posture problems. Treatment sessions last approx. 30 minutes and are subsidised by Schenck.

Today, we all spend too long sitting and don’t move enough. We can do something about that, before work, after work or in between from time to time. Here is an excerpt from the range that you can choose from in the SCHENCK Health Campus:

• Functional Power Workout: Do you want to have a real workout after you’ve finished for the day? Then this course is just right for you. It offers a wide choice of exercises dealing with agility, stability and complete body training, with a particular focus on the legs, back and abdomen together with the shoulders and neck. Every single exercise can be adjusted individually in terms of intensity. Fitness group training to music with intensive workout. We promise that you’ll work up a sweat!
• Football – simply essential! You should be 11 friends: there are sometimes more and sometimes fewer people on the pitch at Schenck RoTec, but it’s the team spirit that really matters. Our football team meets for training every three to four weeks. On the grass pitch when the weather is good, otherwise in the Soccer Halle in Darmstadt.
• Complete body training: This training gives you scope to draw up and implement your own individual training plan, or to do some weight training supervised by our trainer.
• Joint and back health: The training pursues a holistic approach that is good for your joints and back. You can strengthen your back and mobilise your joints by taking an active, health-oriented and preventive approach. The training session should enhance your well-being and quality of life with a pain-free, strong back and improve the agility of your joints.
• Table tennis: When was the last time you played round the table? Table tennis is said to be the fastest racquet sport in the world. Fast reaction capability combined with endurance, speed and body control make this game so varied. Does that sound good? All this kind of training is available in the Health Campus – and we even organise table tennis tournaments now and then.
• Yoga: for a strong back, agility, stretching capability, breathing ... Yoga has turned into a universal, mass sport. And rightly so, which is why we offer our employees a weekly yoga course with our own trainer.

• Workwear: Workwear can be practical. At your request, we can provide you fee of charge with the right sort of clotthing for your specific workplace.
• Meals: Our catering delivery service always offers you the opportunity to enjoy a varied midday meal. There are also various shops nearby, including grocery stores, snack bars, bakeries, restaurants and ice-cream parlours.
• Parking (also for bicycles): a certain number of parking spaces are available for our staff on the premises and some in the multi-storey car park. Depending on availability, they can be used for a small subsidised monthly amount. Free parking is also available around our headquarters. Bicycle parking under cover is naturally available as well. We also offer a charging station for e-bikes and bicycles can be hired right next to the main entrance.

• Deutschland Ticket-Job Ticket: The Dürr Group wants to improve its sustainability in terms of individual mobility, so that we offer a subsidy for the Deutschland Ticket. And the Deutschland Job Ticket is even free for apprentices.
• Bicycle leasing: You can even lease your preferred bicycle. On good terms from Company Bike. With free consulting and attractive lease payments, as well as insurance protection funded by the employer. A second Company Bike for family members is also available at an interesting rate.
• Anniversary payment: Loyalty pays. Every worker’s anniversary is a reason to celebrate. If the period of tenure is higher than average, our employees also receive special leave and a gratuity payment for their anniversary.
• “Metal pension”: The “metal pension” offers you an additional element to build up your retirement pension, with guaranteed interest or additional yield chances – whatever works best with your pension concept. A premium waiver in the event of occupational disability offers protection for retirement and surviving dependants.
• Special leave: Special circumstances need time. Our employees are granted special leave with continued salary payments in the event of marriage, birth, death, moving home etc.
• Benevolent fund: Sometimes, additional support is the only way. In case of special need, for example, when a child is born, for dentures or when someone is in urgent of convalescent rehabilitation, the Carl Schenck AG benevolent fund helps out with a one-off voluntary payment.
• Meals allowance: Subsidised lunchtime meals can be ordered conveniently by app from our caterer.
