How and when should I apply properly?

Submitting a complete application is a clear advantage. This includes:
- Cover letter
- CV
- Your school leaving certificates and a current overview of your grades

When can I apply to become a working student?

We welcome working students already after they have their first semester!

Can I also apply to do a voluntary internship at Schenck?

We support all students who want to gain practical experience before completing their degree course. We therefore also welcome all voluntary interns. Ideally, you should be able to work at least six months as a voluntary intern in order to gain pertinent experience during this period of time, and so that you can grow with your tasks.

Does Schenck pay remuneration for an internship?

Yes, we pay remuneration for all university internships and theses.

Can I do a preparatory/basic internship at Schenck?

No. We do not offer any preparatory/basic internships because our Darmstadt site does not have a production facility, which means we cannot fulfil the prerequisites for a basic internship.
