Unbalance measurement and correction on the same machine

Unbalance measurement and correction without re-clamping the rotor – this will save time and cost. The MAK system offers significant advantages over the conventional method of measuring rotor unbalance on a balancing machine and then correcting it on a separate machine tool, and is also a lot more accurate. In many cases, the system can be retrofitted easily on existing horizontal and vertical balancing machines.

The modular MAK mass correction system enables unbalance to be corrected directly on the balancing machine. The drill unit is applied to the face end, radially or at an angle, and is controlled either manually or semiautomatically.

The method is optimally suitable for use in maintenance, repair and revision, both in one-off and in batch production.
