Vertical Balancing Machine
110 CBAA

Working principle

  • Manually load rotor in the balancing unit, center the workpiece with an interface adapter, close the protective shroud and start the automatic measuring run.
  • Accelerate, measure and display the unbalance on the measuring unit, brake. The measured value display is retained after eachmeasuring run.
  • Open the protective shroud, unload and, if necessary, correct the unbalance.
  • Check the result of correction (achievement of tolerance is displayed by the measuring unit) and unload the rotor from the balancing unit.

Range of application
Measuring the static unbalance (1 plane) of small disc-shaped rotors in manufacturing, research and quality control.

Manual unbalance correction off the machine.

Design
Displacement-measuring vertical balancing machine with manual function sequence. Designed for table-top placement, suitable for a seated operator.

Balancing unit, measuring unit and control cabinet are mounted on a common base plate. The springmounted precision balancing spindle supports a removable adapter for centering the rotors and is driven by a flangemounted electric motor.

The protective enclosure designed according to DIN 45690 / ISO 7475 is part of the standard equipment.

If the machine is combined with an optional correction unit, the unbalance correction can be done directly after measurement. The measuring unit optionally displays the required correction value.
Due to the precise balancing spindle and the softbearing system, this machine is ideal for light rotors such as fans, tachometer pointers, clock pieces, small tools, instrument pointers etc.
The adapter shown here is an adapter for an instrument pointer. They are light, rugged and adapted exactly to the geometry of the work-piece. They contribute essentially toward achievement of low balancing tolerances – even in rough production environments.
