Balancing in development, repair workshops, in one-of-a-kind manufacturing or in small series production place many demands on the measurement systems.

A perfectly balanced rotor is the objective, and to achieve this, we offer the most suitable microprocessor measuring unit for each balancing task. What all measuring units have in common is their operating philosophy, high-precision measured value processing as well as the clear and easy-to-read display. They condition the measurement signal and indicate the angle and amount of the unbalance, directly. Through permanent calibration of the machine, it is sufficient to enter a few geometric dimensions to set the measuring unit for a new rotor type.

CAB 803 – universal, ergonomic and powerful CAB 803 is based on the WINDOWS 2000® operating system, and offers all the functions of the CAB 700. In addition, readout of the un-balance in a vector display shows the balancing expert the exact unbalance condition of the rotor at a glance. You can also select the calculated correction instructions of the measuring unit. In this mode, depending on the type of correction, you can get accurate information about the correction weights and their positions - even when there is a choice of up to100 positions for component correction. During the initial setup of a rotor, you are guided by a clear overview in a dialog menu – leaving no room for interpretation or errors. Simply enter the rotor dimensions, type of unbalance display you want, correction format and the desired tolerance, and you are able to begin balancing. The input data can be stored and recalled with the CAB 803. Thanks to its extended performance, CAB 803 will assist you in difficult balancing procedures in the most efficient way.

CAB 700 – universal and cost-effective When you operate this basic measuring unit for the first time you can tell it is universally usable, simple to operate, measures the unbalance with precision and has a powerful software program. Compact in format, it fulfils the requirements of balancing machines with vertical or horizontal axis. CAB 700 operation is menu-based, with only a few fixed-function buttons, numeric push-buttons and cursor buttons. Even occasional balancing becomes a piece of cake! The overview display appears in clear text in your own language: words, numbers, mass units and clear symbols and color display ensures fast and accurate readout. The measured signals are digitally processed in a large unbalance measuring range with high resolution and interference suppression.

CAB 690 – High-accuracy and flexibility for demanding tasks CAB 690 has proven itself, not only in balancing of rigid rotors but also with rotors that have elastic behavior. It offers a broad application range as well as extraordinary accuracy in signal conditioning and measurement. With this unit you are able to balance at service speed, acquire measurements to evaluate the rotor behavior during run-up as well as measure vibration velocity, shape deviation or impact values as extra-cost options. Software for carrying out unbalance correction supplements this very powerful measuring system.
